Decibel Storm 2010

One of the best hidden secrets of the Greek rock scene was revealed before my eyes, or better my ears. A big thanks to this newly established label Decibel Storm which discovered this rough treasure for our own pleasure and they give it to us pure as it was dug up. Lets take the facts in order. The "DRINK IT" was firstly released from another label but unfortunately it did not have the response it deserved, however with this re-release it is disposal for all the fans of hard rock music and not only them.
More Than Anything offers us a disk that if it was released at the '70s it would have placed them in the pantheon of the immortals. Their sound is very inspired and solid and the emotions flow richly. With no doubt songs like "Same Dream", "Freedom", "Get Away", "Elephant" floods you with feelings but also mind-blowing images of the purest time of rock. Their sound, which is also an emanation from their musical talent, bears a large musical breadth and spreads easily in the paths of blues and psychedelics, without being afraid to flirt with the traditional heavy metal of Black Sabbath .
As for the main influences of this band, I would say that they are mostly from THE WHO, CREAM, LED ZEPELLIN, THIN LIZZY, SOUNDGARDEN, WITCHFYNDE etc. I must point out that this present release includes as bonus a demo from 2003 and it is released in a very beautiful digipack case with lyrics and photographic material.
If you are a fan of classic rock and of traditional heavy metal you have to check this incredible trio. I am waiting in impatience for some new material but also for a live appearance (whoever have seen  them on stage know what I mean)!!
